Technical Assistance for Project Preparation in Water Sector – Group A – Bourgas, Gabrovo, Kustendil, Ruse, Sliven and Vratza
18.07.2013Within the framework of the project, the team of Cooperation “Sofia Consulting Group”, with partners DHI, NIRAS A/S Denmark and SIAT, implemented the following main project activities:
- Preparation of Reports for Financial and Operational Assessment;
- Description and analysis of the existing situation in compliance the structure of the Master Plans;
- Identification of problems and formulation of recommendations for their resolution;
- Development of forecasts of the population number, the household incomes and the development of the business;
- Development of a hydraulic model for the water supply network and a hydraulic model for the sewerage system for each of examined cities, indicating the future development of the network;
- Conducting meetings with MOEW with the aim of informing representatives of the municipalities and the ViK companies about the achieved results as well as for presentation of the formulated recommendation regarding the population number of the water consumption norms;
- Conducting on-site meetings for discussion of the results;
- Finalization and submission of the Master Plans and the hydraulic models.
